2:00 - 3:30 PM - Mingle, cocktails and bites / Wedding Party gets ready (see the Menu Tab)
3:30 PM - The Ceremony (under the pergola in the photo)
4:00 -5:30 PM - Wedding photos / more mingling and cocktails / games in the front yard
5:30 PM - Stand-up dinner and short speeches (see the Menu Tab)
7:00 PM onward - dance party, cigars and commiseration by the fire
11:00 PM - Bylaw probably arrives
Where to Stay
Canada's oldest hotel, the British opened in 1834, 33 years before confederation, and has only eight classic rooms, so book early! It's a fifteen minute walk from the wedding venue AKA our house.
Why not enjoy some spa time at the same time as our wedding? The Chateau Cartier is attached to the Koena Spa. It's a ten minute taxi ride or drive from our house.
There are other hotels in Gatineau and Westboro, on the Ontario side, but these are not very close to our house, and definitely need a taxi/uber. So, we recommend booking one of the options above early! If you need help with accommodations, email Greg.

There will be a few kids at the wedding. There is a park across the street from our house called Parc Magique (see photo), and we will have some kid games available as well. Let us know if you have any questions about keeping them entertained.

The rain plan is to have the wedding in the house; it will be tight, but doable. So, rain or shine!
We will have a catered dinner with lots of options. See the menu here. If you have specific meal requirements, email us.
Aylmer has limited Ubers. As an alternative we offer Aylmer Taxi. The smell of stale cigarette smoke in the taxis included free of charge.
